Tea Pet - Slurping Shiba
Our little dog tea pet has a round shape and a cute face. With its friendly expression and attentive posture, it symbolizes loyalty, vigilance, and happiness, accompanying you through your tea ritual.
Tea pets – also known as "cha chong" (茶宠) – are small, unglazed clay figures that enrich traditional Gongfu tea rituals. They sit on the tea tray, are regularly poured over with hot tea during steeping, and gradually develop a unique patina and personality over time.
All of our selected tea pets are hand-painted.
Height/ Weight:
approx. 4 cm / 70 g
Use and care:
Cleaning: Do not use soap, only clear warm water and occasional rinsing. The goal is to preserve the developing patina, not to remove it.
We keep our range intentionally curated. We only include tea and equipment that completely convince us.
All of our teas have been tested by us and found to be delicious. They are excellently suited for ceremonial preparation with multiple infusions.
