Silver Needle – or Bai Hao Yin Zhen – is China's purest and noblest white tea, known for its delicate, silvery-haired buds. Its flavor is exceptionally fine, mild, and elegant; being especially lightly oxidized, it appears clear and honey-colored in the infusion.

It originates from the historic Yunnan province, where the buds are carefully hand-picked exclusively from the first spring shoots. Only the youngest, unopened buds make it into this exclusive tea.

Silver Needle impresses with a gentle, sweet taste, accompanied by a floral, fresh aroma that delights both tea connoisseurs and beginners alike. When brewed, it unfolds a light, silky texture that conveys a sense of purity and calm – perfect for an enjoyable moment in the morning or anytime in between.

Why did we add this to our shop?

We first drank Silver Needle as a cold brew paired with a meal at a fine dining restaurant, and honestly, that was it for us. We were quite enchanted by the delicacy, the sweetness, and the elegant sensation this tea provides.
