Tea Pet - Thirsty Shark
This thirsty shark is waiting for your tea with its mouth wide open and sharp teeth. Regularly pour your first infusion or leftover tea over it, and over time, it will develop its own character.
Tea pets – also known as "Cha Chong" (茶宠) – are small, unglazed clay figures that enrich traditional Gongfu tea rituals. They sit on the tea tray and are regularly drizzled with hot tea during the infusion process, gradually developing a unique patina and personality.
Our selected tea pets are all hand-painted.

Use and care:
Cleaning: Do not use soap; use only clear, warm water and occasional rinsing. The goal is to preserve the developing patina, not to remove it.
We keep our range intentionally curated. We only include tea and equipment that completely convince us.
All of our teas have been tested by us and found to be delicious. They are excellently suited for ceremonial preparation with multiple infusions.
