Tea Pet - Chubby Cat
This cute cat loves to drink your tea with you. Pour your tea over it regularly, and over time, it will develop its own character. With it, you will never drink your tea alone again.
Tea pets – also known as “Cha Chong” (茶宠) – are small unglazed clay figurines that enrich traditional Gongfu tea rituals. They sit on the tea tray, are regularly doused with hot tea during the infusion process, and develop a unique patina and personality over time.
Our selected tea pets are all hand-painted.
Height/ Weight:
approx. 6 cm / 120 g
Use and Care:
Cleaning: Do not use soap, only clear warm water and occasional rinsing. The goal is to preserve the developing patina, not to remove it.
We keep our range intentionally curated. We only include tea and equipment that completely convince us.
All of our teas have been tested by us and found to be delicious. They are excellently suited for ceremonial preparation with multiple infusions.
