Gong Fu Cha tea tray
This tea tray is the perfect foundation for your next Gong Fu Cha tea ceremony. The tray consists of a bamboo grate and a plastic container that safely collects discarded tea.
In the Chinese tea ceremony, the first infusion is often used to wash and activate the tea leaves and is not consumed, but given to a tea pet instead. With the tea tray, you can feed the first infusion, which often contains a bit more bitterness, to your tea pet instead of wasting it, and it will be safely caught in the drip tray.
Care instructions: after your tea ceremony, you should empty the collected liquid and wipe the tray down with a damp cloth. Please do not leave the bamboo standing in liquid for long periods. As it is a natural material, it can warp over time due to moisture.
